scattered yellowing petals

Today, I tear away the petals and ask myself.
However, the scattered yellowing petals only blankly stare at me.

Tomorrow, I will tear away another petals and ask myself.
And, they will still remain silent, and stay next to me without the answer.

And then, I will realize.
No matter how many times I ask myself, that there is only one answer.

And the answer can only be this.

오늘도 꽃잎을 한장씩 떼어보며 내 자신한테 물어본다.
하지만 바람에 시들고, 흩어져버린 꽃잎은 나를 멍하니 지켜보기만 한다.

내일도 새로운 꽃잎은 한장씩 떼어보며 물어보겠지.
그리고, 내일도 꽃잎은 조용히, 묵묵히 내 곁에서 대답없이 있어주겠지.

그리고, 그제서야 난 깨닫겠지.
아무리 나에게 내가 물어보아도 내 마음 나의 대답은 단 하나라는 것.

오직 그것이라는 것.
